This Is An Excellent Review. That Was Good. Some Of The Songs Were Slightly Underrated Such As "Red Flag". Otherwise This Is Really. And I Liked The Fact That You Pointed Out That There Was Less Screaming. My Father Listens To The First Billy Talent Album. He Liked It But He Said There Was Too Much Screaming. I Guess Billy Talent Realized That.

Thanx.

You have hit the nail on the head with this review. I as well have gotten into Billy Talent through their second CD and will be buying their first shortly. Its great to see someone else feels as strongly about "Pins and Needles" as I do. This song will be a massive single if it is released and will expose them more to the United States. I think this band is the best to come from my country since The Tragically Hip. Great review

I've got a couple more albums ready to review, I've just been lazy. Expect album reviews for Muse's 'Black Holes and Revelations', KRS ONE's 'Live', Public Enemy's 'Apocalypse '91: The Enemy Strikes Black', Smashing Pumpkins' 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness', hopefully others too. Sorry about the infrequent posting, but you can blame Poromenos.

Great review, I just got into BT with this album and I must say i'm incredibly impressed with the intellegence and deep thought that goes into his songs. I'd venture to guess that possibly you did not fully apreciate the "red flag" song though. I tink this is one amazing song and seems to have many meanings for people who listen to it. Not to mention on the surface its just a great song but it seemes to be more of 'wake up' song telling people thats it time to get off your ass and do something about this world.

I loved your review of this album. Personally, I loved the album because of the intelligence of the lyrics and that it doesn't, for the most part suck up to preteens. It really is an album for everyone. I'm an older listener and I listen to the CD with my kids who also love it. There's a lot of stuff to talk about on both albums and you've done Billy Talent a huge service with this review. Anyone who reads this review will be out buying. You're really articulate with your perspective. Can I read more reviews by other bands.
